Wirral Way 5-Miler 2026
The Wirral Way 5-Miler is a flat, fast out and back race along the Wirral Way, a pathway formed from an old railway line. The course runs from Thurstaston towards West Kirby, with gravel underfoot and views across the Dee Estuary to Wales.
The event is located at Station Road, Thurstaston CH61 0HN. On-site toilet facilities are available at the start and finish. There is a water station on the course and at the finish. The race uses chip timing via Nifty Entries and provides a bespoke RaceWirral/Wirral Way medal and a goody bag for all participants. Number collection takes place at the event tent on race day and parking is available. Refunds are not accepted; transfers are allowed.
Entry is for a single distance of 5 miles and is open to ages 12 to 89 on the event date. Young participants under 18 and vulnerable participants must be supervised by a legal parent or guardian while on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
