Wirral Running Festival : 23 May 2027
The Wirral Running Festival takes place on 23 May 2027 at Ian Fraser Walk, New Brighton, Wallasey CH45 2HZ. The event uses a seafront promenade course with views across Liverpool Bay and generally smooth, pace-friendly surfaces.
Distances on offer:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
Entries include a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip timed results, post race goodies and a secure bag drop. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals are positioned on course. Water is provided approximately every 5 km for the half marathon and at the halfway point of the 10K. The 5K route does not pass a water station.
Event facilities are located in an event village along the promenade. Portable toilets are available in the village and approximately halfway along the half marathon route. A secure marquee is provided for baggage; baggage tags attach to race numbers for collection.
Transport notes: New Brighton station is a 10 minute walk from the event village. There is no official race parking but public car parks are available around Marine Promenade and King’s Parade.
