Wirral Running Festival
The Wirral Running Festival takes place along the Ian Fraser Walk in New Brighton. This inaugural event features a course set along the promenade, providing views across Liverpool Bay and a refreshing coastal atmosphere. The route is characterized by a fast and flat profile on the seafront.
Participants can choose from three different race distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10k
- 5k
The event is organized in support of the Giddo's Gift Charity. Marshals are positioned along the course to provide guidance to participants throughout the race. An event village is located on-site, offering various food and beverage options for attendees.
Upon reaching the finish line, runners receive items from event partners. Commemorative event t-shirts featuring the official logo are available for purchase. The festival focuses on providing a well-serviced environment for all participants, whether they are taking part in their first race or are experienced runners.
