The 17th annual Winterläufe - The Winter Race is scheduled for Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Frankenmuth, Michigan. The event uses an out-and-back course that passes through stretches of countryside and crosses the 1904 Gugel Bridge. The published meeting place is the Bavarian Inn Restaurant at 713 S Main St, Frankenmuth, MI 48734. Awards are planned for top finishers in each division.

Standard registration includes a long-sleeved winter-themed cotton tee (not included with Economy entries), a finisher medal, and post-race refreshments. A Sport-Tek long-sleeve upgrade is available for an additional $5. The Economy option includes access to the start area and snack table but does not include the shirt or medal; limited swag may be sold later at the Winterläufe Store. To guarantee a shirt and medal, registrants must register by January 23, 2026. Listed entry fees show discounted and original prices and note that prices increase after February 5, 2026.
