Bauman's New Year's Resolution Race - Flushing, MI
Bauman's New Year's Resolution Race includes a 5K run and a 5K walk that start and finish at Flushing High School, using the Riverbend Striders' Flushing course. The course is 100% paved and accurately measured but not certified, and it winds through a Flushing neighborhood with mile markers placed as weather permits. The event moved to this course after the closing of the old YMCA, with plans to return to Flint in 2026.

Entry options and fees are separated into a hoody option and a no-hoody / medal-only option. Pre-registration prices include:
- With hoody: Adults $35, Students $30.
- No hoody / Medal only: $25. Late registration adds $5 to the pre-registration price. Riverbend Striders members deduct $2 from the pre-registration fee only.
All pre-registered participants who select the hoody option receive a premium hoody. Medals are awarded to the first 500 registered participants. Awards are given for Overall and Masters male and female in both events and across listed age groups for run and walk.
Registration opens November 30 and early registration ends December 19; late registration rates apply after that date.
