Dashing Through the Snow 5K - Saginaw
The event takes place on December 13, 2026 at Imerman Memorial Park in Saginaw, Michigan. It is a USATF sanctioned trail 5K that will be professionally managed and timed with online results. Proceeds will benefit a suicide resource and response network.
The course is a 1.5 mile loop completed twice on a firmly packed trail through woods and along the Tittabawassee River. The route is mostly flat with a few small inclines. The trail will be ungroomed and will not be plowed if snow arrives, so conditions may vary.
All participants receive custom finisher medals and t-shirts, with shirt sizes guaranteed only for registrations completed before midnight on December 6. Top overall awards are given to the first three male and female finishers, and awards are also presented to the top masters 40 and over. Overall winners receive entry discounts for the following year.
Registration is limited to 350 participants. Registration options include shirt and no-shirt pricing for standard, youth (13 and under), and senior (60 and over) categories, with a small discount if a shirt is declined at registration. Packet pickup and late registration are scheduled the morning of December 13 at Bayne’s Apple Valley in Freeland.
Refunds are not provided unless the event is canceled for reasons within the organizer’s control. Transfers to other participants are not allowed; transfer to a similar event may be possible under specified conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
