CHRISTMASTOWN 5K FUN RUN/WALK
The event is a community 5K run and walk on December 12, 2026, in Frankenmuth, Michigan. The 5K route starts and ends at River Place Shops and follows a scenic course through Frankenmuth. Participants may wear festive accessories to emphasize the fun atmosphere.
Registration is online and has several pricing options. Early registration that includes a t-shirt is $40 per adult and $25 per child 12 and under; early registration without a shirt is $30 per adult and $15 per child. Registrations received after December 1 are considered late and are $35 per adult and $15 per child; late registration does not include a t-shirt. The deadline to receive a t-shirt is December 1. Early registrations that include a shirt also include hot cocoa, cookies, and a finish medal. The event is non-refundable and takes place rain or shine.
Race materials may be picked up on the day of the event starting at 8 a.m. at River Place Shops near the Cass River Bar and Grill. Awards will be presented to the overall top three male and top three female runners. Proceeds from Rotary projects support local student programs, Rotary health initiatives, and other community-based initiatives.
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. attendees can visit Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus on the Fest Platz stage by the Cass River Bar and Grill; photos are encouraged. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
