Winter Warrior Half, Quarter and Relay : January 3, 2026, Monroe Community College
The event takes place at Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY on January 3, 2026. It offers in-person and virtual options. All events are capped and the course is slightly adjusted this year because of on-campus construction.
Race distances and course
- Half Marathon - 13.1 Miles, four loops around the MCC campus
- Quarter Marathon - 6.55ish Miles, two loops around MCC
- 4-Person Relay - each team member runs one loop (about 3.1 miles)
Spectators can view runners on each loop. Parking is available in MCC Lot G.
Entries and race kit
In-person entries include a knit winter hat for early registrants, a finisher medal for all finishers, online results, a digital finisher certificate, and optional apparel for purchase. Post-race pizza and indoor restrooms are provided. Virtual entries receive the knit hat, finisher medal, digital certificate, and online-results submission; virtual entrants have a set window to complete and submit results.
Relays receive one timing bib attached to a belt with a timing chip. That belt must be passed between team members during the race and returned at the finish line.
Awards and pickup
Half marathon awards: top 3 overall male and female, plus 5-year age-group awards to top 3. Quarter marathon awards: overall male and female and 1st place in 5-year age groups. Relay awards go to the top three teams. Awards are available at an awards table and are not mailed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
