About the race
Santa Stampede in Rochester is a community fun run and walk held on December 13, 2026 at Fleet Feet @ The Armory (155 Culver Road, Rochester, NY 14620). The event is presented as a noncompetitive, festive activity and benefits the Child Advocacy Center of Greater Rochester.
The course is a sidewalk route of roughly about 3 miles; the exact route is provided to participants on the morning of the event. Registration includes one complete Santa suit (choose Adult or Child; one size fits most, limited supply), a commemorative decal, and a discount voucher for Fleet Feet. The Santa suit components are non-woven fabric pieces: a red hat, red jacket, black belt, red pants, and a white furry beard; basic garment measurements are provided for child and adult sizes.
Organizers encourage participants to bring a new, unwrapped fleece blanket to donate to the Child Advocacy Center. Monetary donations are also collected during registration with a stated fundraising goal of over $2,000. Entry fee is listed as $20 plus processing fees.
Suit pickup is available at Fleet Feet @ The Armory on the two days before the event and on the morning of the event. After the run and walk, participants may return to Fleet Feet for additional holiday activities and to meet representatives from the Child Advocacy Center. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
