Rochester Ugly Sweater 5K

The Rochester Ugly Sweater 5K takes place on December 5, 2026, in Webster, New York. It is the 9th annual edition and will be held at North Ponds Park (also called Charles E. Sexton Park), 750 Holt Rd, Webster, NY 14580.

Events and awards

The event includes in-person and virtual options: a 5K for Team Santa, a 5K for Team Grinch, virtual 5K entries for both teams, and the Yeti 5K Walk. Awards will be given to top overall finishers and age group winners. An ugly sweater contest will award prizes for Best Ugly Sweater, Most Creative, and Most Funny.

Participant items and logistics

Registered runners receive a custom long sleeve shirt, a finisher medal, a digital finisher certificate, and a custom Ugly Sweater bib. Walkers in the Yeti category receive a custom winter beanie and a finisher medal. Packet pickup details are listed as TBD. Parking will be at North Ponds Park and porta potties will be available on site. A post-race party is planned at Mary Wee Pub in Webster with food and drink specials.
