Event overview
The 7th Annual Dreidel Dash 5k & Kids Races takes place on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Temple Beth Elohim, 10 Bethel Road, Wellesley Hills, MA. The event benefits the TBE Youth Engagement Fund and is open to all. Race offerings include:
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- Junior Dash (ages 6-10)
- Kiddie Dash (ages 5 and under)
The 5k is chip timed and runs through neighboring streets near the temple, with a few gentle hills. Turns will be marked by guides and signs, and water stops are provided. Youth 17 and under are eligible for discounted pricing. The kids races run one to two laps around the TBE parking lot; all finishers receive a prize.
Logistics and additional information
The first 300 registrants and volunteers receive a custom knit hat. Bib pickup is available on Friday, December 5 and on race day. A Chanukah costume contest will award best solo and best group costumes during the awards ceremony. Babysitting for children ages 0-10 is provided at no charge during the 5k with advance registration; registration is currently closed and a waitlist may be available through the organizer. A reusable water bottle drive will collect new or gently used bottles for local food pantries. Parking instructions ask attendees to arrive via Route 9 and use neighborhood side streets; the Schofield School lot is being reserved for those who are less mobile.
