Winter Park 50K is a mountain trail event in Winter Park, Colorado, with point-to-point courses that begin at Winter Park Resort and finish in town.

The course opens on immediate singletrack through evergreens and aspen groves, climbing steadily on smooth, runnable trail with wide views of the Continental Divide. The route then alternates flowing singletrack, rugged mountain trail, and faster dirt roads, featuring short climbs and descents typical of high-altitude terrain. As the course approaches town, the forest opens and the route descends into Winter Park with a finish-line atmosphere in the town center.

This is a mountain event with variable weather; temperatures can be in the 30s at the summit and in the upper 70s in town, so conditions may change over the course of the race.

Aid stations are located throughout the course and provide electrolyte drink, gels, chews and bars, assorted fruit, soda, sweets and salty snacks, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Runner care at aid stations includes basic first aid and blister care, bug spray, sunscreen, lubrication for chafing, and feminine products.
