Winter Park Trail Runs : Winter Park, Colorado, August 1st, 2026
The Winter Park Trail Runs present three mountain trail races around Winter Park, Colorado on August 1st, 2026. Courses use high‑alpine singletrack, dirt roads, and some pavement and feature sustained climbing and descending through pine and aspen forests toward a town finish.
Distances
- 50K: ~31.7 miles, ~4,370 ft elevation gain, 85% unpaved
- 21K: ~13.4 miles, ~2,036 ft elevation gain
- 10K: ~6 miles, ~920 ft elevation gain
Start and finish locations include Winter Park Resort and the Rendezvous Event Center at Hideaway Park; event elevations are around 8,773 ft with maximums near 10,800 ft on longer courses. The Rendezvous Event Center offers restroom facilities, shade structures, a skate park, and a picnic pavilion.
Aid stations provide sports gels, electrolyte drink, water, skittles, PB&J rolls, and potato chips; cups will not be provided. Radio contact and basic medical supplies will be available at aid stations. Dogs on leashes are allowed at start/finish and aid stations but are not permitted on course with racers. Racers must display race plates and must remain on the marked course; shortcutting may lead to disqualification.
Entry pricing varies by date, and registered runners may switch distances with applicable fees. Cancellations receive a credit minus a 15% fee and credits expire after 12 months; refunds are limited based on time before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
