Event details
The Summits Trail Runs take place on June 6, 2026 at Granby Ranch Resort in Granby, Colorado. The program includes multiple distance options:
- Elevation Challenge
- 50k
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 6-Mile
Runner capacity is limited to 250 entrants combined. Time limits vary by event. The race is held on mountain single-track trails, alpine meadows, and aspen groves and includes significant elevation change on the courses. Aid stations are provided along the routes.
Logistics and services
Start/finish and race operations are at Granby Ranch Resort, 1000 Village Rd, Granby, CO 80446. Included with entry are a gender-specific race shirt and a finisher's medal for completers; aid stations are described as well stocked. Drop bags are allowed at the Start/Finish aid station; Half Marathon, Marathon, and 50k participants may also use the Bootlegger aid station. Spectators are permitted only at the start/finish area. Crews and pacers are not allowed under the event permits. Camping is available in a secured parking lot by reservation through Granby Ranch Resort - tent or vehicle camping is $20 per night, camper vans and trailers under 16' are $50 per night; check-in begins Friday afternoon and sites must be vacated by noon Sunday.
