Mystery Marathon & Half Marathon
The event day on 3rd September 2026 features a Mystery Marathon and a Mystery Half Marathon held at Premier Inn, Lakeside Grove, Bletcham Way, Caldecotte, Milton Keynes, MK7 8HP. Both courses run clockwise around Caldecotte Lake and use a lap format.

- Marathon: 7½ scenic laps of Caldecotte Lake
- Half Marathon: 3½ scenic laps of Caldecotte Lake
Route descriptions are provided at the event location during registration. Mandatory race briefings take place before each race. The marathon has a hard time limit of 7 hours; any finish after this will be recorded as a DNF. The half marathon has a 4 hour time limit. All finishers receive a unique bespoke medal each day.
Race support includes a starter, timekeeper and race referee. Facilities include a large pub car park and water and toilets available every lap of the lake course. Participants are expected to wear suitable clothing and footwear. The event is held in accordance with 100 Marathon Club rules.
Entry fees are listed as £39.99 for the marathon and £24.99 for the half marathon. Refunds are not available; entries can be deferred up to seven days before the event to another Enigma event that is open to entries, and deferred entries must be used within 18 months. Participants must be 18 or over, declare they are medically fit to compete, and accept the risks and liability conditions set by the organisers.
