Leighton 10K, Leighton Buzzard, 6 September 2026
Leighton Fun Runners stages a club 10 km event in Pages Park, Billington Road, Leighton Buzzard (LU7 4TG). Proceeds are donated to the club charity.
The course is mainly on paths, trails and parkland and includes an out-and-back off road section. Runners cross three main roads at marshalled points; marshals will direct when it is safe to cross. There are gates, bollards, roots, kerbs, loose stones, mud and wooden bridges on parts of the route, so participants should take care. Pushchairs and dogs are not permitted on the course. The use of earphones or bone conduction devices is banned for safety reasons. Tail runners operate and participants who choose to drop out are asked to inform the nearest marshal.
Race numbers with timing chips are collected on the day from the Registration Desk in the Pavilion. Numbers must be secured to the front of the vest with four safety pins and must include emergency contact details on the rear. Timing is based on the start/finish clock and runners will receive a post race SMS with gun and chip times; results will be published on the club website. Photographers will be on course and photos will be available after the event.
Toilets and changing rooms are provided. Refreshments such as tea, coffee and cake are available for a small donation and a commemorative eco friendly medal is issued at the finish.
