Leighton 10K 2026, Leighton Buzzard
Leighton 10K 2026 is organised by Leighton Fun Runners and takes place on 6 September 2026 at Pages Park, Billington Road, Leighton Buzzard LU7 4TG. All proceeds will be donated to the Club Charity.
The race is a 10 km course mainly on paths, trails and parkland. The route crosses three main roads and includes an out and back offroad section after about 3 km. Marshals will manage road crossings and hold open gates where required. The course includes bollards, roots, kerbs, loose stones, mud and wooden bridges which may be slippery; runners should follow marshal instructions and keep left unless advised otherwise.
Numbers with timing chips are issued from the Registration Desk in the Pavilion on race day. Runners must wear their race number on the front of their vest and add emergency contact details to the rear of the number. Timing chips should be returned if a runner does not start or finish. Finishers receive a commemorative eco friendly medal and will receive an SMS with gun and chip times; live results will also be available on the club website.
Facilities include ample toilets and changing rooms. There is no baggage area but parking is available within 200 m of the start near race HQ postcode LU7 4TG. Photography will be taken on course and images will be available after the event.
Key rules include a minimum age of 17 years, a ban on earphones of any type, and no pushchairs or dogs on the route. Marshals and medical staff can disqualify runners for unsafe behaviour and race timings are based on the start and finish clock. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
