Winter Blues - Nashville

Winter Blues is a sunrise-to-sunset trail relay held on the Blue Trail at Edwin Warner Park in Nashville, Tennessee. The event uses a single marked loop on rolling single-track with several short steep hills, one significant climb, two small creek bridges, and a faster finish stretch that returns runners to a shared start and finish area.

The format supports solo entrants and four person teams. Teams swap runners at the start/finish area on their own schedule, with one requirement: every team member must run at least one lap. Solo runners may run as many laps as they can within the race window; the solo division receives the same event shirt and finish-line recognition as teams. Awards recognize solo and team results, and the solo division includes recognition for the highest lap count.

This is a bring your own aid event. Teams and solo runners set up tents and supply their own food, water, and gear at a communal basecamp. The event operates on an honor system for lap tracking and leaderboard updates. Weather in February in Middle Tennessee can vary widely, so participants are expected to prepare for a range of conditions.
