Reindeer Run : Long Beach, December 20, 2026
The Reindeer Run in Belmont Shores, Long Beach (5400 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90803) offers multiple race distances on a marked beach path course. The course is open to the public and uses out-and-back loops along the beach path; participants should be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.

- 5k out and back route
- 10k two 5k loops
- 15k three 5k loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
An aid station at the turnaround near the start/finish provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Course maps are provided by the organizer and the route is described as simple to follow.
Included with registration are custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free race photos, posted results within 12 to 24 hours, and an assortment of snacks and samples. Registration is available through PayPal or Active.com; after PayPal registration the organizer sends a confirmation email within 12 hours to finalize the entry.
The event has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit for the half marathon; participants who need additional time should contact the organizer. Transfers must be arranged through the organizer and there is a no refund policy. Parking is free in the residential area; a paid beach parking lot accepts advance payment by ticket machine or the Passport Parking app, zone 9372.
