Independence Day 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon - Long Beach July 4, 2026
The event holds multiple distance options along the Long Beach Shoreline Path in Belmont Shores, with the meeting address listed as 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803. The course is an open beach path shared with pedestrians, runners, and cyclists and consists of marked out-and-back loops.
Distances offered:
- 5k out and back on the beach path
- 10k two 5k loops
- 15k three 5k loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
An aid station is located at the turnaround at the start/finish and provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit; runners needing more time are asked to contact the organizer for options.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, free photos and videos, live results at finish, trophies and achievement badges, and access to a race app for tracking races, photos, and videos. Race day registration accepts credit card, cash, Apple Pay, Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal and lists separate prices for each distance.
