Course and logistics
The course uses out-and-back loops on the beach path. The 5K route is one lap for the 5K and two laps for the 10K. The 5-mile route is used twice for the 10 Miler, and the Half Marathon combines the 5-mile route twice plus the 5K route once. The beach path is an open course shared with other users; pedestrians should stay to the right and cyclists to the left.
On-course support includes a fully stocked water station at the Belmont Pier and an aid station at the finish with water, Gatorade, gels, and fruit snacks. Each aid station carries a first aid kit and crew members have received CPR training. Turns on the course are marked with chalk, runner turn signs, and flags. A gear check is available at the registration tent; participants must provide their own bag. Overall first place male and female finishers in each distance receive 1st place medals.
