RDA Rare Strides - Long Beach

The organizer, Rare Disease Advocates (RDA), is a nonprofit coalition of healthcare professionals focused on improving diagnosis, treatment, and financial support for people with rare and complex diseases. One hundred percent of race proceeds and donations go directly to support patients.
Course details note that loops are easy to follow and take place on the shared pedestrian beach path; participants are asked to stay in the pedestrian area and be courteous to others. An aid station at the turnaround and start/finish area provides water cups, bottled water, Gatorade cups, and energy gels.
Registration is available as an in person option or a virtual option, with virtual participants receiving mailed race items. Registered participants receive a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, free photos and videos, race results posted within 12 to 24 hours, and a selection of snacks and samples. Transfers are allowed by request and no refunds are offered. All participants must sign a waiver before participating.
