Into the Wild OC Trail Run
Into the Wild OC Trail Run is held at Gypsum Canyon Wilderness in Anaheim on June 24, 2026. The event features a single trail distance of 5k (3.3 miles) starting and finishing at Gypsum Canyon Wilderness with on-site parking.
The course runs on a mix of fire roads and single track with approximately 350 ft of elevation gain. There is one aid station providing water and electrolyte at mile 2.2. The event is cupless; runners are advised to use a personal hydration cup or handheld reservoir.
Pre-running the course is not allowed unless it occurs on designated wilderness access days or during docent led activities. Unauthorized access or pre-running may jeopardize the organizer's ability to offer future events. Pets are not allowed on the land.
The event timeline includes gate opening, check-in and packet pickup, the race start, a post-race taco dinner, and awards. Participants must be present to receive awards.
