Event Details
The Summer time in the LBC event offers three distances on the same day: 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. The start line is located at 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, California.
Location & Course
The race takes place along the Long Beach waterfront, described as an open-pathway route on pedestrian-friendly trails like beach paths. The course is car-free and showcases scenic coastal views.
Registration & Fees
Registration fees are listed per distance. The 5K costs $49.75, the 10K costs $52.93, and the Half Marathon costs $57.17. These prices include processing fees. Prices increase after June 20, 2026.
Event Features
All participants receive a finisher medal. The event is chip-timed, with results available instantly at the finish. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each distance for overall and age group categories.
Race photos are provided for free after the event. Water and aid stations are available on the course approximately every two miles. Restrooms are located near the start line. The event is described as stroller and walker-friendly.
Parking & Logistics
Parking is available a few steps from the start line. Street parking along Ocean Blvd is free. A beach lot at 5500 E Ocean Blvd is available for $2.00 per hour, payable by cash, credit card, or via a parking app. Bib pick-up is available on race day from 6:00 AM.
