Wings for Life World Run Boise
The Wings for Life World Run in Boise takes place on May 10, 2026. The local meeting point is near 250 E Parkcenter Blvd, close to the Albertsons headquarters, along the Boise Greenbelt beside the river in the Parkcenter area.
This event uses the Wings for Life World Run mobile app. Instead of a fixed finish line, participants run until they are caught by the Virtual Catcher Car. The Virtual Catcher Car begins chasing after the race start, initially at 14 km/h and progressively increasing its speed. Distances therefore vary by participant depending on how long they stay ahead of the car.
The course follows the Boise Greenbelt and offers riverside views and continuous flow through the Parkcenter neighborhood. The local setup includes a refreshment station, race timing and numbered identification. The event is accessible for wheelchair participants and accommodates both runners and wheelchair users.
