ZD30 Starting Line
The ZD30 Starting Line is the opening event of the Zero Dark Thirty Run Series. It takes place in Boise on March 7, 2026, at 700 S Capitol Blvd, Boise, ID 83702. The series is a progressive experience designed to take participants from an initial mile to a full marathon over the season.
The event is intentionally beginner friendly. Participants may run, jog, walk, or mix all three. All distances are walk friendly, fully timed, and open to participants of all ability levels.
Distances
- 1 Mile, series distance for walkers, beginners, families and first time participants.
- 5K (3.1 miles), optional distance, walk friendly and fully timed.
- 10K (6.2 miles), optional distance, walk friendly and fully timed.
The event welcomes walkers, people returning to movement after time away, veterans and first responders, families and friends, and experienced runners pursuing a season long challenge. The Zero Dark Thirty ethos emphasizes progress over pace and choosing to show up even when it feels uncomfortable.
All proceeds benefit the Zero Dark Thirty Foundation, a veteran led nonprofit focused on rebuilding purpose, resilience, and community through movement and connection. Event benefits and deliverables include finalized results with awards and prizes at a Gala, a finisher Military Challenge Coin awarded to all finishers, an event shirt, and access to the Zero Dark Thirty Run Series community.
