Event Details

The Wings for Life World Run is a global running event with an app-run format. In Orange, Australia, participants will use the official mobile app to take part in a unique race format.

Course and Location

The in-person event in Orange starts at Sir Jack Brabham Park. The course is accessible for wheelchair participants.

Race Format

Unlike a traditional race with a set distance, all participants start at the same time. A "catcher car" begins moving 30 minutes after the start and gradually increases its speed. The race for each individual ends when the virtual catcher car, tracked via the app, catches up to them. The goal is to run as far as possible before being caught.
