Event overview
The Orange Running Festival takes place on Sunday, 15 March 2026 in Orange, Central West New South Wales. The festival runs over a weekend in the region known for food and wine and includes events for school-aged competitors and the wider community. The main running courses are all sealed and gently undulating, set in the cool climate of Orange. The festival acknowledges the Wiradjuri Nation as the traditional owners of the land. The event is funded by the NSW Government and supports local community organisations, including the RFS, Scouts, Cycling without Age and local schools.

The Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K courses are World Athletics/AIMS certified and are eligible for ranking points as well as for championships or events requiring qualification times. The Half Marathon, 10K and Primary School Dash have reached capacity and waitlists are available; places remain in other events.
