Wings and Warriors 5K & Fun Run
Dommerich Elementary School and Maitland Middle School host the Wings and Warriors 5K & Fun Run on March 7, 2026. The event begins and ends at the back parking lot of the school campus, with the 5K course weaving through the Dommerich Estates neighborhood. The back parking lot is accessed through Mojave Trail.
Event distances:
- 5K professionally chip timed, with medals awarded to top finishers in each grade and age category and a special division for teachers.
- 1 mile Dommerich Dash, an untimed fun run.
All registered participants receive a dri-fit race t-shirt, a race bib, and a swag bag. Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the race on Friday, March 6, at the Dommerich Elementary back parking lot; packet pick-up and late registration are also available on race day. The 5K is chip timed by Southern Timing, LLC and includes live results, an individual results page, a finisher certificate, and a short video of each participant crossing the start and finish line. An awards presentation follows the 5K.
Discounts include free registration for teachers and a family discount of five dollars off each registration when three or more participants are registered in the same transaction. 5K registration includes entry to the 1 mile fun run.
