WineSTEM 5K
The WineSTEM 5K is the sixth annual run presented by the Wentworth Institute of Science and Health (W.I.S.H.), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports STEM students through scholarships, grants, mentorship, and community partnerships. The event takes place in Canton on October 25, 2026, and raises funds for scholarships for high schoolers entering STEM and grants for college students.
The event program includes multiple distances:
- 5K race
- 1K Fun Run
- Tot Trot
Packet pickup and late registration are available. Awards for the 5K are given to Overall Male and Female, Overall Male and Female Masters age 40 and over, and Overall Male and Female Grand Masters age 50 and over; entrants may not receive more than one overall award.
Registration pricing per racer is tiered: $30 through August 20, $35 through October 6, and $40 after and on race day. The 2026 race course is listed with a course certification. W.I.S.H. reports that in five years the community has raised over $40,000 and awarded 24 scholarships and grants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
