Windward Half Marathon & 5K : Kailua, HI
The Windward Half Marathon & 5K is scheduled for Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Kailua District Park, adjacent to Kailua Intermediate School. The setting includes the Ko`olau mountains as the backdrop.

The course starts in front of Kailua Intermediate School. The half marathon route goes toward Kailua Road. The 5K route goes in the opposite direction toward Kainui Drive. Police and course marshals will be positioned along the course. The half marathon course includes five aid stations and the 5K includes one aid station.
Timing is provided via a timing chip mounted on the bib number; the bib must be visible from the front to record a finish time. Pre-race instructions will be given before the races and participants are responsible for arriving at the correct start line.
Packet pick-up is planned for Saturday, March 21 (details to be announced) and on race day. Onsite registration at packet pick-up and on race day is cash only unless registration is completed online.
Parking is limited at Kailua District Park; additional parking is available at Kailua Library, behind Longs, and at two metered public lots in Kailua. Restrooms and port-a-potties are located at Kailua District Park, and public restrooms are available on the half marathon course at Enchanted Lake Community Park.
