JAL Honolulu Marathon : December 13, 2026
The JAL Honolulu Marathon is a 26.2 mile road race held in Honolulu, Hawaii, on December 13, 2026. The event draws over 35,000 participants from Hawaii, the U.S. mainland, and international locations. Registration is open to everyone aged seven and older; there is no qualifying time, no lottery, and no cut off time for finishing.
The course follows coastal and urban streets of Honolulu. It starts on Ala Moana Boulevard and passes downtown Honolulu, Waikiki, Diamond Head, Kahala, and Hawaii Kai before returning along Diamond Head Road to finish in Kapiolani Park near the beach. The finisher area includes a village with post race refreshments, showers, a finisher shirt, and a medal; post race treats include freshly made malasadas.

Packet pick-up is handled at the Honolulu Marathon Expo at the Hawaii Convention Center in the days before the race. Entry fees vary by residency and registration period; military and student entries receive a 10% discount. Group bookings of five or more entries receive a 10% discount.
