Hawaii Kai Ultra Run - Kalama Valley 2026
The Hawaii Kai Ultra Run takes place on December 19 and 20, 2026, with check-in and the start/finish located at Kalama Valley Park, 555 Kealahou St., Hawaii Kai, Honolulu, HI 96825. The event uses a 3.34-mile loop route with the start/finish in the middle of the loop; three loops equal approximately 10 miles. Turnaround points are marked with cones and signs.

The route runs along Kealahou St., with a mauka turnaround at Kealahou and Ipuai Streets and a makai turnaround before Kalanianaole Highway toward Sandy Beach. Street parking is available where posted along Kealahou St. Bus route number 23 stops at Bus Stop ID 288 across from the check-in tent at Kealahou and Mokuhano Streets.
This is a show-up and sign-in event with no packet pickup. Hydration (water, ice, snacks) and 24-hour public restrooms are available at the start/finish tent. The event is cupless; participants are encouraged to bring a reusable water receptacle. Certificates, medals, and stickers are awarded to registered finishers; finisher shirts may be purchased in advance for a fee and a limited supply may be available on race day. The event serves as a 50 States Marathon Club qualifier, and certain distances qualify entrants for HURT races.
