Windsor Half Marathon 10K & 5K
The event takes place on May 16, 2026, at Windsor Town Green in Windsor, California. All races start and finish at Windsor Town Green.
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles, 3.5 hour cutoff, no walkers
- 10K - 6.2 miles, 2 hour cutoff, walkers welcome
- 5K - 3.1 miles, 2 hour cutoff, walkers welcome
The half marathon course winds through vineyards in the Russian River Valley. The 10K and 5K courses are described as flat. The town area includes wineries, tasting rooms, restaurants, and local craft beer venues.
Aid stations are stocked with water, electrolytes, and portable restrooms. Approximate aid station mile markers are mile 3, mile 5.55, mile 8.60, mile 10.20, and mile 12.00.
Course safety is supported by the CHP, local police, and course marshals. Participants are asked to stay on the right side of the road when possible. Animals, rollerblades, and bicycles are not allowed on the course.
All finishers receive a custom finisher medal and a race shirt. Post-race snacks are provided, and each entry includes one complimentary beer, wine, or root beer voucher. Registrants under 12 receive an automatic $10 discount. Race registrations are final and non-refundable; race protection insurance is available during registration.
