Event overview
The Windsor Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K take place in Windsor, California, with all events starting and finishing at Windsor Town Green. Distances offered are:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
Registrants under 12 receive an automatic $10 discount at checkout. Prices are listed as inclusive of mandatory charges, items, and fees. The half marathon has a 3.5 hour cutoff; the 10K and 5K have 2 hour cutoffs. Walkers are allowed on the 10K and 5K; walkers are not permitted for the half marathon.
Course and logistics
The half marathon course runs through local vineyards. The 10K and 5K courses are described as flat. Aid stations will supply water, electrolytes, and portable restrooms at approximately mile markers: Mile 3, Mile 5.55, Mile 8.60, Mile 10.20, and Mile 12.00.
Safety, finish, and post-race
Course safety is supported by the California Highway Patrol, local police, and course marshals. Participants are asked to stay on the right side of the road when possible. Animals, rollerblades, and bicycles are not allowed on the run course. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal and a race shirt.
