Windsor Half Marathon 10K & 5K
The event takes place in Windsor, California with all distances starting and finishing at Windsor Town Green. The courses pass through the Russian River Valley and run near local vineyards and tasting rooms. The 10K and 5K courses are described as flat and fast; walkers are welcome for those distances. The half marathon course begins and ends on the Town Green and routes through vineyard areas. The half marathon has a 3.5 hour cutoff and does not allow walkers.
Distances:
- Half Marathon 13.1 miles, 3.5 hour cutoff, no walkers
- 10K 6.2 miles, 2 hour cutoff, walkers welcome
- 5K 3.1 miles, 2 hour cutoff, walkers welcome
Aid stations are provided and stocked with water, electrolyte drinks, and portable restrooms at approximate mile markers 3, 5.55, 8.6, 10.2, and 12.0. Race safety is supported by CHP, local police, and course marshals; participants are asked to stay on the right side of the road when possible. Animals, rollerblades, and bicycles are not permitted on the course.
All finishers receive a custom finisher medal and a race shirt. Post race provisions include snacks and one complimentary beer, wine, or root beer voucher. Registrations are final and non refundable; registrants under 12 receive a $10 discount. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
