Napa Valley Marathon and Half Marathon
The Napa Valley Marathon and Half Marathon are point to point road races held along the Silverado Trail in Napa Valley. Established in 2019, the event highlights vineyard scenery and a route that passes several well known wineries. The marathon runs from Calistoga to Napa; the half marathon begins at Conn Creek and finishes in Napa. A 5K out and back route starts from the finish area and returns there.
Race recognition and course notes include a designation as a Boston qualifier for the marathon and a Race Raves mention noting the first 23 miles along the Silverado Trail, four turns in the final four miles, a gradual net downhill profile, and generally mild late-winter weather. The half marathon has received Runner’s World recommendation.
Distances:
- Marathon: Calistoga to Napa along Silverado Trail
- Half Marathon: Conn Creek to Napa along Silverado Trail
- 5K: out and back from the finish area
Event items and community impact are specified. Marathon and half marathon entries include a BOCO Gear backpack, medal, and t shirt. The 5K provides a long sleeve finisher tee and a medal; funds from the 5K are returned to the Napa Valley community and the 5K is presented by the Kiwanis Club of Greater Napa. Proceeds from the races help fund college scholarships for Napa County high school seniors and support other community efforts. The March 1, 2026 races are listed as sold out.
