Napa Valley Marathon and Half Marathon
The Napa Valley Marathon and Half Marathon take place in Napa Valley on March 7, 2027. Both point-to-point courses run along the Silverado Trail through vineyard country. The event was established in 2019.
The event offers multiple distances:
- Marathon from Calistoga to Napa along the Silverado Trail
- Half marathon from Conn Creek to Napa along the Silverado Trail
- 5K out-and-back from the finish line
The marathon is a Boston qualifying race and is listed among top Boston-qualifying events. The half marathon is recommended by Runner's World. The courses are described as fast with a net downhill profile and mostly flat terrain with some gentle rolling hills and minimal turns in the later miles. Runners pass vineyard scenery along much of the route.
Finish items and event benefits are specified for each distance. Marathon and half marathon finishers receive a BOCO Gear backpack, a medal, and a T-shirt. The 5K includes a long-sleeve finisher tee and a medal; that race is presented as a Kiwanis Club of Greater Napa event and returns funds to the Napa Valley community.
