Napa Valley Marathon and Half Marathon
The Napa Valley Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5K are spring road races held in Napa Valley along the Silverado Trail. The event for 2027 is scheduled for March 7, 2027 and was established in 2019. Runners pass vineyard views and several well known wineries on predominantly point to point courses.
The marathon runs from Calistoga to Napa along the Silverado Trail and is a Boston qualifier. The half marathon begins near Conn Creek and follows the Silverado Trail into Napa. Organizers describe the marathon and half marathon as fast courses with a net downhill profile and mostly flat terrain with some gentle rolling hills.
Race offerings and included items vary by distance. The marathon and half marathon include a BOCO Gear backpack, a medal, and a T shirt. The 5K is an out and back from the finish area, includes a long sleeve finisher tee and a medal, and returns its funds to the Napa Valley community as a Kiwanis Club of Greater Napa event. Event proceeds also support college scholarships for Napa County high school seniors and donations to local community organizations.
