Beer City Half Santa Rosa is a running and festival day in Santa Rosa centered at A Place to Play. The event features a course that runs around Santa Rosa Creek and includes multiple distances. Registered participants receive a shirt, a Key to Beer City finisher's medal, and a custom tasting glass.

A post-run festival called Shindig takes place at Moonlight Brewing and includes music, food trucks, and games; ticketing for Shindig covers a first beer.

A free Beer Trolley shuttles between A Place to Play and multiple breweries, with stops at several local taprooms.
