Windmill 10K - San Francisco
The Windmill 10K is a 10 km out and back running event on John F Kennedy Drive in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. The course runs along JFK Drive and gives participants the opportunity to cover both the west and east sides of the park. The route features a gradual uphill that levels to flat in the first half, then a gradual downhill that returns to flat on the second half.
The start and finish are located near the Queen Wilhelmina Windmill on JFK Drive close to the Great Highway. Free parking is available along JFK Drive and the Great Highway. All participants receive a finisher ribbon, and place ribbons are awarded to the Top 5 overall M/F/NB runners.
The event is organized by DSE Runners. The published entry option lists an individual 10K entry price of $10. The event is held rain or shine and organizers state there are no refunds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
