Winchester 10K, 22 February 2026

The Winchester 10K is organised by Challenging Events Ltd and takes place in Winchester, with the start area located outside Winchester Guildhall. The route is a one-lap closed road course that combines streets and parkland.

The course leaves the city centre via St George's Street and heads toward the village of Kingsworthy. The return leg passes through Headbourne Worthy and finishes at The North Walls Recreation Centre. The start line is positioned in The Broadway, in front of the King Alfred statue.

Entries include chip timing and a finisher medal, and a no medal lower-price option is available. The event is open to entrants aged 15 and over on the race date. The race typically attracts over 1500 participants.

Volunteer marshals are invited to help on the day; marshals receive a credit voucher and community groups can earn a £200 donation. Roads are closed for the duration of the race and diversion routes are used while the event proceeds. Participants are expected to follow the event Code of Conduct which asks athletes to show respect and good sportsmanship.
