Event
The Winchester 10K is scheduled for 22 February 2026 in Winchester, UK. The race is organised by Challenging Events Ltd and is held with a start area at Winchester Guildhall (168 High St, Winchester, Hampshire SO23 9BA). The event is open to entrants aged 15 and over on the event date. Entry fees are listed between £30 and £35. Chip timing is included with standard entries and a no-medal entry option is available.
Course and logistics
The race uses a one-lap closed-road route that begins outside Winchester Guildhall in The Broadway and finishes at The North Walls Recreation Centre. The route passes St George's Street, goes out toward the village of Kingsworthy, returns through Headbourne Worthy, and mixes urban streets with countryside parkland. Roads will be closed for the event in the morning and are expected to reopen around mid-morning. Marshals are recruited for the course; volunteers receive a credit voucher and community groups can earn a £200 donation. A Code of Conduct is provided for participants.
History
