Wimbledon Common Trail 5k & 10k Christmas Run
This event offers 5 km and 10 km trail distances over a course that runs through Wimbledon Common. The route uses a mix of undulating gravel and tarmac paths and each mile is marked with signposts. Marshals and helpers are positioned on the course to guide runners and offer encouragement.
Entry includes a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip timed results, post race goodies, bag drop and a Christmas hat. There is an event village with food and drink options and free goodies from partners at the finish. Water is provided on the 5k section of the 10k loop and at the finish.
Logistics note the event village location at Rushmere Pond, The Causeway, London SW19 4UG. There is no on-site parking and attendees are advised to use public transport where possible; the nearest train station is Wimbledon with a connecting 93 bus to bus stop Q followed by a 5 to 10 minute walk. A secure baggage marquee is available and baggage tags attach to the race number for collection. Toilets are provided in the event village. Due to terrain, the course is not deemed suitable for buggy runners or wheelchair athletes. Dogs may not run the event but are allowed in the event village on a lead.
