Williamson Park Charity Road Races

Williamson Park Charity Road Races take place at Williamson Park, Lancaster, with start and finish areas close to the Ashton Memorial. The event supports Lancaster and Morecambe Lion's Club and holds UKA licences #28689 and #28545. Three events run on the same day, with routes that use the park and surrounding countryside.

The event format includes the following distances and settings:

• 1 km Family Fun Walk/Run inside the grounds of Williamson Park
• 10 km road race leaving the park through local roads
• Half marathon leaving the park exploring the Lune Valley countryside with views across Morecambe Bay

Medals are provided to all participants and to fun run finishers. In the 10 km and half marathon prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers, and there are veteran and spot prizes. Entry is available online with tiered fees for club athletes, non club athletes, and Lancaster Runners Club members. On-the-day entries accept cash only and have higher fees. The organiser enforces a no refunds, no swaps, and no deferrals policy. Course maps are available for the 10 km and half marathon routes.
