About the race
Williamson Park Charity Road Races take place on 15 August 2027 at Williamson Park, LA1 1UX. Three events are held on the same day with start and finish near the Ashton Memorial and courses that explore the Lune Valley countryside and include elevated views across Morecambe Bay.
Event distances include:
- 1 km Family Fun Walk/Run inside the grounds of Williamson Park
- 10 km road race leaving the park
- Half marathon route through the surrounding countryside
Medals are awarded to all Family Fun Run finishers. Medals are also provided for participants in the 10 km and half marathon. In the 10 km and half marathon there are prizes for the first three male and female finishers and additional veteran and spot prizes.
Online entry fees as listed:
- Fun Run: £8 individual or £25 family of four
- 10 km: club athlete £24, non club athlete £25, Lancaster Runer's Club £19
- Half marathon: club athlete £31, non club athlete £33, Lancaster Runner's Club £25 Some online portals may add a small fee.
