Event Overview

The Williamson Park Charity Road Races consist of three events held on a single day at Williamson Park in Lancaster (LA1 1UX). All events start and finish near the Ashton Memorial. The event supports the Lancaster and Morecambe Lion's Club.

Race Distances

The event features three distances:

A 1 km family fun walk/run inside the grounds of Williamson Park.
A 10 km road race.
A half marathon road race.

Course Details

The 10k and half marathon routes leave the park and explore the Lune Valley countryside, offering views across Morecambe Bay from elevation.

Entry Fees

Online entry fees are available, with different pricing for club athletes, non-club athletes, and members of the Lancaster Runner's Club. Entries on the day are accepted but must be paid in cash. The organizer operates a no refunds, swaps, or deferrals policy.

Fun Run

Individual: £8 online / £10 on the day.
Family of 4: £25 online / £35 on the day.

10k

Club athlete: £21 online / £25 on the day.
Non-club athlete: £23 online / £25 on the day.
Lancaster Runner's Club member: £17 online / £20 on the day.

Half Marathon

Club athlete: £30 online / £35 on the day.
Non-club athlete: £33 online / £35 on the day.
Lancaster Runner's Club member: £24 online / £30 on the day.

Prizes and Medals

All fun run finishers receive a medal. All participants in the 10k and half marathon also receive medals. In the 10k and half marathon, prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers, plus vet and spot prizes.
