Williamson Park Charity Road Races
The Williamson Park Charity Road Races take place at Williamson Park, LA1 1UX, with start and finish near the Ashton Memorial. The event day includes three races held on the same day and supports the Lancaster and Morecambe Lions Club. The event is run under UKA licences 28689 and 28545 and is organised by Lancaster Races.
Distances and format include:
- 1 km family fun walk/run inside the Williamson Park grounds
- 10 km road race leaving the park
- Half marathon leaving the park and exploring the Lune Valley
Medals are awarded to finishers of the fun run and medals are provided for participants in the 10 km and half marathon. The 10 km and half marathon also offer prizes for the first three male and female finishers and additional veteran and spot prizes. Route maps are provided for the 10 km and half marathon.
Entry fees differ by event, entry method and affiliation. Online fees include: fun run £8 individual or £25 family of four; 10 km from £19 to £25 depending on club status; half marathon from £25 to £33 depending on club status. Some online portals may add a small fee. Entries on the day are cash only with higher fees. The event operates a no refunds swaps or deferrals policy.
