Riverside Half Marathon and 10k
The Riverside Half Marathon and 10k take place on 16 August 2026 and are organised by Lancaster Races. Both events start from the George and Dragon pub at Lancaster Quay, with the courses mainly following the Lune Estuary Footpath and offering views of the Lune Valley.

The events hold UKA licences #28689 and #28545. All finishers in the half marathon receive a medal and a t shirt. All finishers in the 10k receive a medal. Prize places are awarded to the first three male and first three female finishers in each race. The half marathon course records are 70.04 for men and 81.43 for women.
Entry is available online with differing prices for affiliated club athletes, unaffiliated athletes, and Lancaster Runner's Club members. Online fees note that some entry portals may add a small charge. On the day entries are accepted for a higher fee and are cash only. The event operates a no refunds, swaps or deferrals policy.
