Scorton Feast Memorial 10k
The event is a timed 10 km race held in Scorton, North Yorkshire, as part of a village festival on Sunday 16th August 2026. The course is multi terrain and described as flat, with one small lap in the middle. The race carries an entry limit of 150 participants.
All runners receive a hot drink and cake after the finish and prizes are awarded. Proceeds from the race will be split between Target Ovarian Cancer (Charity No: 1125038) and Herriot Hospice Homecare (Charity No. 1151298). The organisers run a refreshment stand serving tea, coffee and cakes with donations going to the same charities.
Minimum age is 16. Headphones and dogs are not allowed. The route is not suitable for wheelchairs or for pushchairs or buggies.
Race headquarters are at the football field on Banks Lane, DL10 6DG. Facilities listed for the event include water, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. There is plenty of car parking available at race headquarters. Entry fees listed for this event are £13 for affiliated runners and £15 for unaffiliated runners. If places remain available on the day, entry on the day is offered for an additional £2.
