17th Annual Williamsburg Landing 5k Run/Walk for The Arc
The event is a fundraising run and walk at Williamsburg Landing, located at 3000 The Mall in Williamsburg, VA. It offers both in-person and virtual participation and benefits The Arc of Greater Williamsburg; 100% of event proceeds support the organization’s services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The program includes the following distances and formats:
- 3 Miles in-person 5k Run/Walk
- One Mile in-person Fun Run
- 5k virtual Run/Walk to be completed at a time and location of the participant's choice
- One Mile virtual Fun Run to be completed at a time and location of the participant's choice
Registration opens May 22. The base registration fee is $40 and increases to $50 on September 5. Registered entrants aged ten and under are free. Discount codes are available for Arc clients and for middle, high school, and college students, each reducing registration to $20 for eligible users. Entrants registered by September 14 will receive a T-shirt in the requested size; remaining shirts are available if supplies allow. Payment is accepted by credit card, cash, or check.
The course is an out-and-back across the 137-acre, tree-covered Williamsburg Landing campus near College Creek. Parking is provided at Laurel Lane Elementary School with shuttle service to the registration area at the William A. Doig Health Club and Spa. Light snacks, fruit, water, and pizza will be offered. Prizes are awarded to top finishers in age categories. Raffle tickets will be sold. Team and fundraising options are available to support The Arc.
