Williamsburg Landing 5k Run/Walk for The Arc
The 17th Annual Williamsburg Landing 5k Run/Walk for The Arc is a fundraising event that benefits The Arc of Greater Williamsburg. One hundred percent of event proceeds support programs and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including educational, vocational, health and wellness, life skills, cultural, social, and recreational programs and respite for families and caregivers.
Distances offered:
- 3 Miles (5k) offered in person and as a virtual option
- 1 Mile Fun Run offered in person and as a virtual option
The course runs across the 137 acre Williamsburg Landing campus in tree covered hills near College Creek. Registration and packet pickup take place at the William A. Doig Health Club and Spa at 3000 The Mall. Parking is located at Laurel Lane Elementary School, 112 Laurel Lane, with shuttles available to and from the health club.
General event information includes a registration fee of $50 per entrant with an increase to $55 on September 5. Registered entrants aged ten and under are free. Discount codes provide a $25 registration rate for Arc clients and for middle, high school, and college students. Same day registration and packet pickup are available at Williamsburg Landing. Payments accepted at the race include credit cards, cash, and checks payable to The Arc of Greater Williamsburg. Entrants registered by September 14 will receive a T shirt in the requested size; others will receive T shirts if available.
Light snacks, fruit, and water will be provided and pizza will be available courtesy of Anna's Brick Oven Pizza. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers in age categories.
