The Will Run for Food 5K takes place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Mount Ulla, North Carolina. The event is based at Centenary United Methodist Church, 620 Centenary Ch. Rd., and the course runs on Centenary Church Road, starting and ending at the church. Dogs are not allowed on the course with participants.

Pre-registration is available and is guaranteed to include a quality shirt for preregistered runners. Timing and scoring are provided by Salisbury Rowan Runners. Race-day registration is offered at the church.
Additional information
Entry fees before February 27 are listed as $30 for the 5K and $15 for the fun run; the 5K race day fee is listed as $35. Awards include cash prizes for the overall top three male and female finishers ($100, $50, $25) and awards for top three male and female masters. Age-group awards are three-deep across standard age divisions; overall winners are not eligible for age-group awards. Fun-run participants who preregister receive medals and t-shirts, and the top three overall for ages 12 and under are recognized.
All proceeds benefit Rowan Helping Ministries West Food Bank. The event will collect canned food at the race for donation. Awards not picked up on race day will be held at the church for two weeks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
