Carolina Ugly Sweater 5K Walk/Run & 1K Elf Run
Carolina's Ugly Sweater event is a holiday-themed running and walking event held on December 6, 2026 in Jetton Village at 19818 N. Cove Road, Cornelius, NC 28031. The event includes a main 5K and a children's 1K Elf Run recommended for ages 10 and under. Walkers, strollers, and pets are allowed in the 5K.

Those over age 21 receive two adult beverage drink tickets. A race t-shirt is available for purchase for $10.00 until November 25.
Awards for both races are presented after the 1K, and there are giveaways from local businesses plus a prize for best overall costume.
