Wildcat Summer Cup - July 5K
The Wildcat Summer Cup July 5K is a single race in a three-event 5K series organized by the Sunrise Social Club and sponsored by River Region Runners (R3). The July event is scheduled for July 12, 2026, at Cloverdale Park, 2415 W Cloverdale Prk, Montgomery, AL 36106.
The series includes three Saturday or Sunday race mornings this summer at different local sites: June 14 at Vaughn Road Park, July 12 at Cloverdale Park, and August 9 at the Union Station Train Shed. The advertised distance for the 5K is 3.11 miles.
Registration opens February 28, 2026, and closes July 12, 2026. A single payment of $20 covers a bib for the entire series, which is described as three 5Ks for $20. The course will be marked and hand timed; timing is described as very unofficial. Participants are responsible for keeping their bibs and bringing them to each race day. Bib pickup will be available on race days and registration will continue throughout the summer. Each race morning is followed by a BYOB potluck brunch.
