Wild Turkey 3 Miler
The Wild Turkey 3 Miler is a running race held in West Monroe, Louisiana. The event features a single distance of 3 miles and follows an out-and-back course layout. Participants begin the race at the Pavilion and proceed through several local streets.
The route takes runners onto Mane Street and Exchange, followed by a right turn on Wassan and a left on Grantham. The course reaches its turnaround point at Industrial before participants return along the same path to the finish. A portion of the proceeds from the event is donated to Grace Place Ministries, Inc.
The event recognizes participants across several categories, including overall male and female winners as well as masters male and female categories. Age group recognition is also provided for participants aged 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, and in 10-year increments for older participants.
Registered participants receive a t-shirt, although these are provided in limited quantities until the stock is exhausted. All shirts must be collected in person. Packet pickup is available the day before the race at a local running store in Monroe or on the day of the event at the race location.
