Airdrie Wild Rose Women's Indoor Triathlon
The event takes place on October 31, 2026 at Genesis Place, East Lake Boulevard Northeast, Airdrie, Alberta. Participants are assigned to heats based on swim pace; heat assignments are communicated about one week before the event.
The format consists of three stages of 15 minutes each: pool swimming (any stroke), stationary bike class led by an instructor, and walking or running on the indoor track. There are about 10 minutes for transition from swim to bike and from bike to run. During the swim, athletes are organized by pace with up to four swimmers per lane, lifeguards on duty, and volunteers assisting with lane assignments and passing procedures.
Each heat is led by a group leader and supported by marshals for swim and run. After the session the group returns together, stops at Booster Juice for a smoothie, receives a commemorative finisher's bracelet, and may take a group photo; post-race massage is available. Spectators are welcome but pool viewing is most accessible; the spin area and track have limited spectator access.
Practical notes: arrival about 30 minutes before the assigned heat is recommended, a towel is mandatory for transitions, a Wild Rose swim cap is provided, and the registration policy allows no refunds though rollovers and transfers are possible for fees and within specified deadlines.
