Wild Rose Women's Indoor Triathlon - Airdrie
The Wild Rose Women's Indoor Triathlon takes place in Airdrie at Genesis Place on October 31, 2026. The event is organized in heats with short timed segments for each discipline; the source materials list swim, bike and run segments that fall within a roughly 10 to 20 minute range.
The swim is held in a pool where athletes may use any stroke. Heats are organized by pace with up to four swimmers per lane and lifeguards and volunteers present. A swim cap is provided. Transition periods between disciplines are timed and volunteers assist with body marking and logistics.
The bike segment uses stationary spin bikes led by a spin instructor; volunteers help set seat height and answer questions. Participants may use cycling shoes compatible with SPD pedals if desired. The run segment takes place on the indoor track where a run marshal directs traffic and announces the final lap.
Participants receive an official race bib, a commemorative finisher's bracelet, a post-race massage and a post-race smoothie from Booster Juice. The event is open to ages 10 and up and lists a 10 percent age discount for ages 10–18 and 55+. Registration examples show an early fee of $65 if registered by May 1, 2026, with higher fees listed later. The policy states there are no refunds; rollovers to 2027 and transfers are permitted for fees and within specified deadlines.
