About the race
lululemon Community hosts a community run and movie evening on Friday, October 23 in Calgary. The gathering starts at the lululemon 17th Avenue Southwest store and continues at Mas Studios.
The activity includes a 5K run at a social pace led by a run ambassador. Costumes are encouraged and walkers and slower runners are welcome. Participants check in at the store, take part in a brief warm up and a costume photo before heading to the next location.
After the run the group walks to Mas Studios (812A 16 Ave SW) for a screening of Hocus Pocus. Snacks and beverages are provided for attendees at the studio.
Practical information for participants includes wearing reflective clothing or carrying a light for low light conditions, choosing a costume that allows comfortable running, and bringing a water bottle and a warm layer or change of clothes for the movie portion.
