Dash of Doom Halloween Run : North Glenmore Park
Dash of Doom takes place at North Glenmore Park on Saturday, October 24, 2026, and is presented as a family friendly Halloween tradition that closes Run Calgary's in-person race season.

- Kids Race
The event is pet friendly and allows dogs in costume; costumes for humans and pets are eligible for awards. The best dog costume winner is featured on the following year's medal and shirt. Participants may walk, run, or use a mobility device. Strollers are permitted in the 5 km and 10 km. Age limits are noted: the Kids Race has an upper age limit of 12, the 10 km has a minimum age of 10, and the 5 km has no minimum age listed.
A pre race Halloween festival precedes the races and includes free face painting, games, crafts, photo backdrops, a DJ, a photo booth, and candy. The race includes candy aid stations and chip timing. All participants receive a long sleeve technical shirt; Kids Race participants receive a finisher medal. 5 km and 10 km participants can choose an optional finisher medal while quantities last.
Package pick up is handled at Run Calgary Headquarters with dates and times communicated to registrants before the event. The event raises funds for the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society and has fundraised $82,000 to date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
