Dash of Doom Halloween Race - Calgary
Run Calgary presents the 11th Annual Dash of Doom Halloween Race at North Glenmore Parking Lot O, North Glenmore Park Road, Calgary, Alberta, on October 24, 2026. The event is described as family-friendly and pet-friendly.

A pre-race Halloween festival will include free face painting, games, crafts, photo backdrops, a DJ and candy aid stations. Costume awards are planned for best individual, best group and best pet costume; the best dog costume will receive a prize package and be featured on the 2027 medal and shirt.
Organizers offer an optional finisher's medal for the 5 km and 10 km to support sustainability efforts; all Kids Race participants receive a medal. Registration includes a long-sleeve technical shirt, chip timing, complimentary secure bag check and opportunities to win costume prizes. The event supports Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society AARCS.
Over the last ten years the event has raised more than CA$82,000 for animal welfare. Entry fees are non-refundable except for registrants enrolled in the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program and covered by its terms.
