Run Calgary organizes the 11th Annual Dash of Doom Halloween Race on October 24, 2026 at North Glenmore Parking Lot O, North Glenmore Park Road, Calgary, AB, Canada. The event is described as family-friendly and pet-friendly and offers multiple distance options.

A pre-race Halloween Festival precedes the races and includes free face painting, games, crafts, photo backdrops, a DJ, and candy. The event provides candy aid stations on course, chip timing, and complimentary secure bag check. All participants receive a long-sleeve technical shirt featuring the 2025 best dog costume winner. Kids Race finishers receive a medal; 5 km and 10 km participants may add an optional finisher medal during registration. The optional medal is offered to reduce waste as part of sustainability efforts.
Costume awards are given for best individual, group, and pet costumes; the best dog costume prize will be featured on the 2027 medal and shirt. The race raises funds for the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS); since 2016 the event has raised over CA$82,000. Current fundraising shows CA$2,538.56 raised toward a CA$15,000 goal. Prices include processing fees and participants pay 5% GST in addition to the entry fee. All entry fees are non-refundable except for those covered by the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program.
