2026 Dash of Doom Halloween Race
Run Calgary presents the 11th Annual Dash of Doom on October 24, 2026, at North Glenmore Parking Lot O, North Glenmore Park Road, Calgary, AB, Canada. The event is described as family-friendly and pet-friendly.

- Kids Race
- 5 km walk/run
- 10 km run
A pre-race Halloween festival is scheduled with free face painting, games, crafts, photo backdrops and a DJ. Candy aid stations will be available on course. Costume awards are offered for best individual, best group and best pet costume; the best dog costume will receive a prize package and be featured on the 2027 medal and shirt.
Entry fees include a long-sleeve technical shirt featuring the 2025 best dog costume winner, pre-race festivities, chip timing, and complimentary secure bag check. Kids Race participants receive a finisher medal. For the 5 km and 10 km races an optional finisher medal is available for purchase as a sustainability measure; medals are offered while quantities last.
Youth pricing is listed: youth 12 and under 20 dollars (24.68 with fees), youth 13 to 18 30 dollars (35.45 with fees). Prices are subject to 5% GST. All registration fees are non-refundable except for participants who purchased the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program and whose circumstances are covered. Distance and participant transfers are allowed with specified deadlines and procedures. The event supports fundraising for the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society; over the past ten years the event has raised over 82,000 dollars for animal welfare.
