Wild Hybrid Eastern - High Lodge
Wild Hybrid Eastern takes place at High Lodge within Thetford Forest, located between Norwich and Cambridge. This event utilizes the forest's extensive network of trails, paths, fire roads, and woodland areas. The second day of the event weekend is dedicated to solo entries, while other categories include specific ruck run options.
Participants can choose from various event formats:
- Wild Hybrid Solo
- 5 km Ruck Run
- 10 km Ruck Run
The ruck runs require participants to carry a weighted pack. Men must carry a 10 kg pack and women must carry a 7 kg pack. Competitors are responsible for bringing their own packs, which are weighed during the registration process. The functional exercise area for the hybrid challenge is situated among the trees near the venue center and parking area.
The event features live chip timing for all participants. Those who finish the event receive merchandise and products from event sponsors. Prizes are awarded to the individuals finishing in the top three positions in each category. Parking is available on-site for a fee of £5.00, and professional event photography is available for purchase following the competition. The event is open to participants aged 16 and over.
