Wild Florida 5K
The Wild Florida 5K is a community running event held in January 2027 at Lake Baldwin Park in Orlando, Florida. The event supports Conservation Florida's work to protect water, wildlife, and wild places in the state.
The primary race distance is 3.1 Miles. Adult race entries include a branded 5K medal, with select registration levels offering additional items such as a t-shirt and decal. A free kids run is offered for children up to 10 years old; no medals are provided for the free kids race. Organizers note a limited number of medals and that t-shirt orders for certain ticket levels must be placed two weeks before the race.
Timing will use a disposable chip attached to the back of the race bib for scoring. Top overall finishers receive additional recognition and prizes. Packet pickup is available before race day at Fit2Run in Waterford Lakes and on race morning at the race location on New Broad Street.
The Lake Baldwin Park trail is a flat concrete route and is mostly shaded. The event welcomes a range of paces including running, jogging, and walking. Dogs and strollers are permitted, and parking is available throughout Baldwin Park on neighboring streets and in parking garages. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
