Event Overview
The Pride of the Patriots 5K is an annual community event held at Bill Fredrick Park at Turkey Lake in Orlando. Now in its fourth year, the race serves as a fundraiser for the Freedom High School Pride of the Patriots Marching Band. This musical ensemble consists of over 200 participants and is recognized as one of the largest marching bands in Central Florida.

Race Details
The event is organized as a fun run. While all participants can view their finish times on a visible clock at the end of the course, official scoring is limited to the top three male and female finishers. Those registered for the in-park event can pick up their race packets at the venue on the morning of the race.
Virtual Option and Amenities
A virtual category is available for those who wish to complete the distance from a remote location or at home. Virtual participants who register by the specified early deadline will have their race materials mailed to them before the event date. Regardless of the chosen category, all registered runners and walkers receive a commemorative t-shirt and a finisher medal.
